SBPS MECHANIC

Are you interested in Motorcycles, ATVs, and UTVs? Do you have experience working on these vehicles, or a desire to gain that experience?

South Bay Powersports is looking to add 1 full-time or 2 new part-time mechanics to join its team. We are seeking mechanics interested in learning the business and mechanical aspects of our company.

Duties Include:

  • Daily maintenance and service on client vehicles i.e. Motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs and more.

  • Competent in diagnosing and repairing all types of street and dirt vehicles

  • Uphold customer service standards and quality standards in every project

  • Maintain a clean work area and shop.

  • Can follow through with a project from start to finish.

  • Proficiency with mechanic tools (including lifts, power tools etc.)

  • Check-in and write up work orders.

Qualifications:

  • Mechanical Experience

  • Experience running, maneuvering, navigating, or driving vehicles. (Motorcycle License Preferred)

  • Fast worker, always eager to go above and beyond

  • Great problem-solving skills, organized and professional

  • Ability to pass a drug test, and background check.

  • Can follow directions. Works well with others. Team Player.

  • Self Motivated, energetic, and upbeat.

  • Quickbooks experience is a plus

  • Occasionally lift and/or move things 50 pounds or more.

  • Ability to balance and push a 300+ pound motorcycle.

  • From time to time work weekends and evenings

  • Prefer someone living locally to the South bay area but open to everyone

Salary will be based on experience
